It's not a mirage: This mighty cactus, pink blossoms and all, has sprouted up in living rooms across the world.

The Oasis Cactus Cat Tree was among the first products we launched at VETRESKA and remains one of the most recognizable items in our catalog. So, how did we make the match of cactus and cat? It's all part of the VETRESKA way. 

Bridging the Gap

Channeling our love for our pets and for great design, VETRESKA products tell a story where your cat is always the main character. In everything we do, we want to enrich the ways your cat spends its days and create new, cherished moments for owners and pets alike.

"We are always thinking about how to integrate the human's lifestyle with the pet's life, and bridging the gap between humans and pets," says VETRESKA co-founder Donald Kng. "So, the whole idea is taking what humans like and adapting it to what cats can use."

So, why a cactus? It's the question everyone asks. We had seen the love for these prickly plants in the design world, especially with young, style-savvy professionals. Plus, we just knew we could transform one of them into a cat's playground.

Feline Design

Every VETRESKA product is also made to mesh effortlessly with your life and bring harmony into your home. That's why we designed the cactus in two sizes and imbued it with chic, minimalist flair. It's an eye-catching centerpiece with no shortage of whimsy. Plus, to be 100 percent sure this cat tree would be the fun breath of fresh air we wanted, our team even crafted a unique green hue – designed in-house out of 100% non-toxic dyes.

To make that happen, we thought about what cats need. The rest came naturally: When cats nap, it will be on the cactus' sturdy arms; when they scratch, it will be on its mighty trunk; and when they climb, it will be to its very tippy-top. And don't worry, it's stable enough to handle feline climbers on the … chonkier side. (We tested!)
